The precision ground, Tungsten Carbide Contour Shear tool (S-20) is designed to shear a groove between 50 to 100 mils in width.  This tool features a cutting edge lapped to a 25mm radius with a 30 degree clearance.  The edge is set at a 22 degree shear angle in relation to the rotation of the table.
