Taber Abraser, Single Head - Model 1700 (w/115V Vacuum)

The Taber Rotary Platform Abraser (Abrader) is used to perform accelerated wear testing. Samples are mounted on a rotating turntable, and subjected to the wearing action of two abrasive wheels applied at a specific pressure. Features include quick release wheel mounting; precision vacuum height adjustment; and 60 & 72 RPM speeds. Includes: SH-125 specimen holder; SH-101 hold down ring; auxiliary weight set (2 each to achieve 500g and 1000g load); TorxT25 screwdriver; S-12 hand brush; and vacuum system. 115/230V, 60/50Hz switchable.
